Hello, my name is Angélica and I've decided to make a blog about my journey to grow out my hair the natural way, by using SLS & cone free products. This is more a blog for myself, so I can later read what worked for my hair and what didn't ;) So might be a bit boring to you guys! Or maybe helpful :)
Edit: I've come to the conclusion that cone & sls free is not for me. But this journal is still about growing my hair out, finding the right products (and little reviews) & hairspiration ;)

Sigh, I suffer from what I call ‘flat hair syndrome’. It’s REALLY annoying. I have really fine hair (mostly at the sides, the back is thicker and coarser) that gets all fluffy and bouncy and full of volume after showering! The day after however, it looks like I have hardly any hair at all! Very, very annoying, specially now I just can’t put up my hair yet.
This has actually been one of the reasons why I kept my hair short for the last few years! But not for now, I’m going through with it!
Things that help? Not using cones! And my dearest R&B from Lush is just way too heavy for my hair (but I’ll keep on using it every now and then anyway ;)) Wearing hats because of the cold doesn’t really help either! Making it wet helps as well, but since it’s winter and my hair takes at least 2 hours to dry (yes, I’m not kidding! I don’t get it either) that’s not an option right now!
Can’t wait till it’s a bit longer again so the pony stub can come back \m/

(sigh I’m so procrastinating right now D:)
